I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor working face to face in West Wales and online nationwide

 

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) whose ethical framework and guidelines I adhere to within my practices. 

My Counselling Qualifications include:

Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

Level 2 and 3 Certificates in Counselling Skills

Certificate in CBT

Certificate in Relational Counselling (Nearing Completion)

As part of my continued professional development, I have undertaken much professional training such as, but not limited to Motivational Interviewing, Working with Endings, AIM3, Working with Metaphor, Non-Violent Resistance (NVR), Understanding Female Genital Mutilation, Unconscious Bias, Mindfulness and Wellbeing.

I am also a mental health first aider

I facilitate group therapy and support groups

 

I currently split some of my time working as a bereavement counsellor with NHS

​

I have worked with the charity Place2Be as a School Counsellor and I was also a telephone counsellor with Cruse Bereavement Care and Ealing SAFE Counselling, working with young people up to the age of 18. I have previously worked with the NHS IAPT counselling service and the youth offending service 

​

Prior to my becoming a counsellor, I was a secondary school teacher and also managed a mentoring project for young people.
